MANILA, Philippines — Northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” and easterlies are expected to bring rain in parts of the country on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday.

Clauren-Jordia also noted that some areas in Luzon will experience fair weather with chances of rains.
Article continues after this advertisement“Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will experience fair weather tomorrow but there is a possibility of light rains, especially in the early morningw,” she added in Filipino.
Article continues after this advertisementMeanwhile, the weather specialist said that rains are expected in parts of Visayas and Mindanao due to the easterlies, or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.
Article continues after this advertisement“In Visayas and Mindanao, we are not expecting extensive rains tomorrow or within 24 hours. But scattered rains, and thunderstorms are possible in the evening, especially in the Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao region,” Clauren-Jordia added.

Article continues after this advertisementShe also mentioned that no gale warning is raised over seaboards of the country. However, she warned that moderate to rough sea conditions are expected in coastal areas of Northern and Central Luzon.
In a statement, the company said the project dubbed RASLAG-4 has a capacity of 36.646 megawatt peak (MWp), which is its biggest facility yet. It is also set to produce 53 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity, which can power around 24,000 homes per year.
The BOC’s collections in the first eight months of this year surpassed its target of P609.59 billion by P5.19 billion, and compared to the previous year, it’s a 5.72-percent increase from P33.29 billion.
No low pressure or tropical cyclones are being monitored by Pagasa.
